i'm sorry for your loss.  i doubt it helps you telling you so.  i doubt it helps me telling you so.  but it's worth a shot.

beautiful.  the real catch here might be the bee.  they're disappearing!

yeah it does stink and as someone once said, one of the main reasons people seek each other out is to heal.  thanks for caring sweetheart.

it wasn't easier.  her death took away all hope of ever being together again.  i didn't give a rats ass if we were 85 years old, i was going to walk up to her and ask if she'd had enough.  it's far easier said than done though.  losing her the first time was more personal though because she was leaving mostly just me.  i guess one isn't better or worse than the other.  they're different.  they both suck though.

i hope she knew too that i still loved her.  she passed before i could arrange a flight.  i thought i had more time.  when i spoke to her mother a few days prior, she was surprised i still cared.  i hope she told her.

you shouldn't feel guilty though, q.  i met many people in rehab who have stories that make mine seem pedestrian.  we can't all go around with guilt complexes.

    thanks for your thoughts.

hmmm..... i think recognizing the difference between what "just is" and what can be changed is the battle, if you will, we struggle with every day.  some things can be changed or can be what they are intended.  it's a personal battle that we sometimes choose and is sometimes foisted upon us.
